About the role

Ensures orders are processed in accordance with Boar’s Head's customer service standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse, distribution center, or meat processing facility. Works without close supervision; typically reports to a lead, supervisor, and/or manager.

Responsibilities

• Assure weight is within allowed tolerance on all pallets/orders.
• Reject pallets/orders that do not meet specifications.
• Count product/cases per pallet physically and note quantities on the packing slip.
• Ensure all pallets are in acceptable condition.
• Ensure all pallets/orders are properly labeled and accompanied with all required documentation.
• Communicate all product shortages to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Keep workstation in a clean and safe condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong desire to accept responsibility, show initiative, and be a team player.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with other workers throughout the plant.
• Must be able to communicate with Management, Supervision, and Leads.
• Experience in computer data processing.
• Some knowledge in packaging material weights and product description.
• Knowledge of product preferred.
