About the role

The Checker at 061 Dallas Fort Worth-8th Ave Store is a key member of the Fiesta Mart team. This position is based in Fort Worth, Texas, at 2700 8Th Ave.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service as per company standards
• Process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Perform cash register operations
• Safeguard company assets
• Work under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds
• Bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time

Requirements

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English
• Interact with general public and co-workers
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
