About the role
Candidates should possess the ability to: Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outstanding customer service as per company standards
- Process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Perform cash register operations
- Safeguard company assets
- Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets.
- Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times
Requirements
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
