Check in Clerk

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Check in Clerk to work at our Jermyn, PA Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls on a multi-line system
• Redirecting calls to appropriate contacts
• Data entry
• Processing driver paperwork
• Assisting dispatchers
• Other duties may apply as requested by management

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well organized
• Computer literate
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast‑pace environment
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role; freight logistics experience

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.76 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday – Friday.
