CHB Operations Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Own all CHB operations services for the customers assigned to them.
• Providing customer service to assigned customers and assisting customers with questions and requests for information.
• Processing Customs entries and PGA for clearance of goods, ensuring full compliance of all Customs and PGA regulations.
• Opens entry files, and subsequently processes entries according to outlined KPI.
• Coincides clearance of shipments with forwarders, Steamship Lines, Airlines, to ensure shipments are released timely.
• Completes customer billing and/or other required reports.
• Completes tracking and tracing for inbound shipments.
• Coincides coordination of delivery for shipments from airline, ocean piers and CFS (container freight station) to customer/consignee destination.
• Maintain customer SOPs and make updates as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CHB6 -12 months of experience in the customs industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently.
• Persistently drives issues to closure.
• Well organized, detail oriented – especially when working under pressure.
• Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork.
• Able to multi-task in a face paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience.
• Customs House Brokerage License preferred but not required.

Pay

Pay Range: $53,000-$58,000* USD
