What We Look For In a ChatGPT Tutor

• Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of ChatGPT capabilities including prompt engineering, conversational AI interaction, content generation, code assistance, data analysis, creative writing applications, API integration basics, and understanding of large language model limitations.

Emphasizes critical evaluation of AI-generated content and connects ChatGPT usage to workplace productivity, academic research, and creative project enhancement.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with AI literacy needs and common challenges such as writing effective prompts, understanding AI hallucinations and limitations, and maintaining ethical standards in AI usage. Adapts instruction using hands-on prompt practice, output comparison exercises, and use-case exploration to support students and professionals from AI beginners through intermediate users seeking to integrate ChatGPT effectively into academic and professional workflows.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
