Responsibilities

• Preparing or reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Leading audit preparation and supporting external audit processes
• Overseeing reconciliations, journals, and closing schedules
• Advising on tax filings, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting
• Reviewing financial controls, accounting policies, and best practices
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting frameworks
• Collaborating with internal and external finance teams or bookkeepers
• Acting as a financial steward during fundraising, due diligence, or international expansion

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local reporting standards
• Hands-on experience with accounting tools
• Ability to work independently and support multiple clients or stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and financial integrity
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with non-finance leaders
