About the role

Join the Charlotte Tilbury Freelance Makeup Artist team, where you’ll combine strong artistry, sales, and service talents to teach customers Charlotte’s secrets of makeup artistry—lessons honed over 20 years at the top of the industry with celebrities and leading brands. You’ll deliver Charlotte’s philosophy of “artistry made easy” while contributing to the growth of an exceptional beauty business.

Responsibilities

• Promote and create makeup artistry in-store, always representing the ethos, products, and image of Charlotte Tilbury.
• Drive business through exceptional makeup artistry and customer service, reflecting brand values and resonating with the customer base.
• Achieve sales targets by crafting an amazing, personalized shopping experience that embodies passion and enthusiasm for the brand.

Main Duties

Sales

• Strive to achieve event sales goals and sales-per-hour targets.
• Create brand awareness by sharing and demonstrating in-depth product knowledge.
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit within company guidelines.

Customer Service

• Lead by example to promote the “Tilbury Touch” and deliver exceptional customer service.

Team Work

• Maintain a positive, cooperative approach toward work and colleagues.
• Foster an atmosphere of open communication, professionalism, and creativity.

Operations

• Ensure the counter/gondola is “customer ready” from open to close of business.
• Maintain excellent counter hygiene: clean display units, tools, and testers throughout the day.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, rotation, and timely replenishment.
• Support visual merchandising, new launch displays, and collateral placement in coordination with the Sales and Artistry Executive.
• Assist in the execution of in-store events.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Brand field team regarding any counter/gondola needs or concerns.
• Uphold high standards for schedule management, clocking in/out, and submitting timesheets via the payroll application (Allwork).

Requirements

• Sales-driven mindset with experience in beauty and retail.
