About the role
The firm specializes in guiding clients through all phases of planning, design, and construction, providing strategic oversight, budget and schedule management, stakeholder coordination, and construction oversight.
Responsibilities
- Act as the owner's primary representative throughout the project lifecycle.
- Protect the owner's interests regarding scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the owner, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost forecasting and reporting.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coverage design reviews to ensure alignment with owner requirements and project objectives.
- Oversee procurement and contract administration processes.
- Review and evaluate contractor and consultant proposals, bids, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, permits, and safety requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to ownership and executive stakeholders.
- Track project performance, costs, and schedule progress through reporting and analytics.
- Review project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Facilitate communication and resolve issues among project participants.
- Manage project scope and evaluate the impact of requested changes.
- Monitor construction activities to verify quality standards and contract compliance.
- Cookordination site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review and approve payment applications and invoices.
- Ensure successful project closeout, including punch list completion, turnover documentation, warranties, and occupancy requirements.
- Drive stakeholder satisfaction by balancing project objectives, business goals, and user needs.
Requirements
- 7+ years in ground up construction management.
- Commercial Project Experience, banks is a plus!
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
