About the role

Charge Nurse overseeing dialysis patient care and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, support, and supervision to direct patient care staff, including performance feedback and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and staff development through training and orientation.
• Monitor and oversee all patient care activities, including dialysis treatments, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Participate in patient care planning, education, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and supervise equipment safety and usage.
• Collaborate with the team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote a clean, safe work environment.
• Support quality assurance activities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with RN licensure.
• Minimum of 12 months nursing experience, including 6 months in dialysis care.
• Preferred experience in medical-surgical nursing and supervisory roles.
• CPR certification required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

Physical & Working Conditions: Office and clinical environment with exposure to infectious materials, requiring travel between facilities. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
