Charge Registered Nurse - Surgery

Role: Provides leadership and coordination within a hospital unit to ensure quality patient care and clinical objectives. Responsibilities: Assigns, directs, and evaluates nursing/support staff; assesses patient needs; develops care plans; collaborates with advanced practice providers; evaluates care effectiveness; addresses patient care issues; participates in hiring and training; maintains safety standards. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; at least one year of RN experience; current RN license and BLS certification in the relevant state. Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, lifting, and operating equipment. Key Duties: Supervise staff during night shifts, manage patient assignments, monitor care quality, respond to care concerns, and contribute to team development.
