Charge Registered Nurse - RN → Registered Nurse (Charge)

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating facility operations, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role includes staff training, equipment management, and fostering positive physician and patient relations. Responsibilities Maintain quality standards through regulatory compliance and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).Implement quality goals, develop action plans, and ensure adherence to policies.Support patient care from admission to discharge, including assessments, education, and documentation.Administer medications, IV sedation, and respond to emergencies as needed.Coordinate communication with physicians, attend meetings, and ensure necessary equipment is available.Ensure equipment functionality, maintain safety standards, and manage facility environment.Participate in cost control, inventory management, policy development, and staff competency testing.Oversee medical records accuracy, regulatory compliance, and participate in audits and surveys.Act as Patient Safety Officer, conduct safety meetings, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with current licensure and ACLS certification.6-8 years of related experience, including supervisory or management roles preferred.Experience in ambulatory surgical centers, vascular access, or interventional radiology.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical database software.Strong leadership, communication skills, and ability to manage staff effectively.Ability to respond to emergencies and maintain safety standards. Physical & Working Conditions: The role involves desk work, patient interaction, facility oversight, and travel between locations. The environment is typical of a healthcare setting, with exposure to infectious materials and moderate noise levels.
