Trauma Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for clinical and operational leadership in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. Join a leading trauma team providing exceptional care in a busy Level I Trauma Center, supporting professional growth and community health initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care
- Coordinates daily unit operations
- Supports staff
- Acts as a clinical resource during assigned shifts
- Develops and implements complex care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to improve outcomes
- Utilizes evidence-based practices, participates in practice improvement initiatives, and promotes scientific inquiry
- Evaluates patient and family experiences, identifies care gaps, and provides feedback to enhance safety and satisfaction
- Assesses patient data proactively, manages complex cases, and ensures adherence to standards of care
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree
- Preferred: 5-10 years of experience
- Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
- Prior supervisory experience is not required
