Charge Nurse (RN or LVN) All Shifts

Responsible for

• Conducting daily nursing functions
• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
• Participating in resident/family orientation
• Participating in facility surveys

Principal Responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction
• Serving as a resource to staff
• Managing nursing personnel
• Assessing staff performance
• Coordinating shift assignments
• Reporting incidents and adverse events
• Evaluating care interventions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
