Charge Nurse RN or LPN

About the role

We are Regency Prineville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a skilled nursing community located in the heart of beautiful Prineville, OR. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Aid residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations

Requirements

• Current nurse license in good standing
• Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!

• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
