Charge Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics

About the role

The Charge Nurse oversees daily operations of designated units, ensuring quality and efficient patient care while meeting organizational and medical staff goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff assignments and mentor team members
• Coordinate patient care
• Assist with recruitment and training
• Independently manage unit activities in the absence of the Nurse Manager
• Communicate unit needs and prepare reports

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• At least one year of RN experience
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification
• Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, and CPI required based on department

Qualifications

Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
