About the role
We are hiring an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide exceptional nursing care while supporting residents, families, and nursing staff in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring quality resident care, supervising CNAs, coordinating daily clinical operations, and helping create a positive environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
- Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Assign resident care duties and coordinate daily workflow
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
- Complete accurate nursing documentation and maintain compliance with Missouri state regulations
- Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life
Requirements
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- BLS/CPR Certification
- 1–2 years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively as part of a nursing team
