Charge Nurse (RN/LPN) | Day Shift (7AM–7PM)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff during your assigned shift.
• Deliver exceptional resident-centered care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Complete nursing assessments and documentation accurately and timely.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans.
• Coach, mentor, and support CNAs and nursing staff.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Help maintain excellent clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Participate in shift reports, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in reducing overtime through effective staffing and communication.
• Promote a positive, respectful, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Subacute Care, or Post-Acute Care preferred.
• Previous Charge Nurse, Floor Nurse, Unit Manager, or Nursing Supervisor experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
• Passion for providing compassionate care to older adults.
