Charge Nurse - MedSurg/OrthoSpine, Nights

This full-time nursing position offers a sign-on bonus and involves night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Responsibilities Coordinate the delivery of high-quality nursing care across all age groups and manage operational issues during the shift. Provide clinical care as needed based on patient census. Communicate patient care details, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership. Serve as a resource to guide and support staff members. Qualifications Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred. Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure. BCLS certification required. Advanced certification in the specialty area, if applicable. Certifications including ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP (for Women’s Services), with specific training requirements depending on the unit. Additional certifications such as AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and PEARS are required. Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days of start.
