Charge Nurse - Med/Surg Tele - Days
About the Role
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development. The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
Organizes and prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others in a surgical unit. Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares the room environment.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- 6 months of RN acute care experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Schedule
Full-time, non-exempt position.
- Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (Shift 1 = Days)
- Weekend Work: Every other weekend
- On Call: No
This position is located at BayCare Health System in Bartow and requires on-site work (never remote). CMS COVID-19 vaccine or exemption requirements apply.
