Charge Nurse (LPN)

What You’ll Do

• Oversight nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation as needed
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met
• Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect
• Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety
• Uphold Americare’s mission, vision, values, and company policies

What You Bring

• Licensure / Certification: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Experience & Skills: Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations, strong communication, leadership, and clinical judgment skills, experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred, commitment to resident-centered care and team collaboration, alignment with Americare’s Mission, Vision, Home Town Hospitality, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. Values

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed
• Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance
