Charge Nurse - LHMI - Card Rehab

Responsibilities

• Aids the Department Director in the daily operations of the unit.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates personnel.
• Evaluates the proper use of time, equipment, and resources.
• Performs direct patient care, as needed, within the scope of practice.
• Assesses patient care needs and directs staff to make necessary changes in the plan of care.
• Communicates effectively with physicians and staff to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred.
• PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.
