Charge Nurse - Labor & Delivery, Night Shift

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating high-quality nursing care for patients from birth through postpartum and gynecologic needs.
  • Providing clinical support based on patient volume and acuity.
  • Communicating patient and departmental issues to leadership.
  • Serving as a resource and guiding staff.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
  • Valid RN license and multistate licensure.
  • Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and specialty-specific credentials such as PEARS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and Fetal Monitoring.
  • Additional certifications and training must be completed within specified timeframes.
