About the role
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.
Responsibilities
- Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
- Serve as a resource person and consultant to assigned nursing personnel.
- Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
- Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Instruct and counsel patients/families.
Requirements
- Valid State RN License is required.
- BLS is required at hire.
- Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- CRRN preferred.
