Charge Entry/Biller - Full time

About the role

Working under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager and Lead Biller, the position shares responsibilities of being accessible to physicians and staff regarding billing questions; assures that all billing functions are completed in a timely fashion and develops billing goals.

Responsibilities

• Being accessible to physicians and staff regarding billing questions
• Assuring that all billing functions are completed in a timely fashion
• Developing billing goals
• Entering, reviewing and modifying daily charges
• Queue work

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of medical billing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or others in the workplace, with or without reasonable accommodation

Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
• Competency with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
• Knowledge of modifiers, ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Computer proficient
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Command of verbal and written English

Pay

Salary range: $21.06‑$31.96 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on work history, experience, skill set, and education. This range does not include the value of the benefits package.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 (full‑time).
