Join a leading AI lab's GenAI team to define and critique performance evaluation standards, ensuring AI models honor the craft of character animation. Collaborate with experts to shape evaluation processes and benchmarks, impacting the development of advanced AI models.

Deliverables

• Establish evaluation standards for performance capture in emotional resonance and physical fidelity.
• Curate benchmarks by identifying strong and challenging performance examples for model testing.
• Shape the evaluation pool by defining profiles and rubrics for human reviewers.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.

Requirements

• Strong relevant experience in the domain as a hands-on character animator.
• Verifiable credits on 2 or more feature films, animated features, or AAA game cinematics.
• Direct experience with facial animation and/or performance capture techniques.
• A meticulous eye for micro-expressions and emotional beats in human performance.
• Familiarity with AI tools and workflows, including generating visual samples for testing.

$60–$90 per hour
