About the Role

The chaplain will perform duties and responsibilities of a professional chaplain within Prisma Health, reporting to the Director of Pastoral Care Services.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct service and professional pastoral care.
• Serves as liaison between the hospital system and the religious community.

Requirements

• Master’s of Divinity or Theological Studies.
• 1 year of ministry experience.
• Licensed, endorsed, and ordained by a faith/denominational group (Lawson Code COTR).
• One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required.

In Lieu of Minimum Requirements

• 4 units of CPE will be considered the equivalent of 1 year of pastoral care experience.

Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020, are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements and must be certification-eligible, with one year to obtain required certification.
