Job Responsibilities
- Provides pastoral care through routine and/or referral visitation.
- Provides crisis and bereavement care during times of deaths, codes, and other emergencies.
- Provides pastoral care as appropriate for a special shift or assignment.
Experience
- Minimum Required: 1 year experience in providing pastoral care through work in a church, previous service as a volunteer chaplain, or other related ministries.
- PREFERRED/DESIRABLE: 2 years experience in providing pastoral care through work in a church, previous service as a volunteer chaplain, or other related ministries.
Education
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferably including coursework in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Care, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
