Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose
- Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community
- Regularly visits company worksites to build relationships of trust and friendship
- Visits employees or immediate family members to express care and provide help
- Provides confidential pastoral discussions for personal and family issues
- Acts as a referral service and coordinator for specialized assistance
- Assists in planning, conducting, or attending funerals for employees or immediate family members
- Encourages immediate family members during the grief period
- May make jail visits to employees and immediate family members
- Serves notifications of death and serious injuries to families and other employees
- Fosters a smooth transition for laid-off or terminated employees
- Facilitates or leads spiritual enrichment activities as appropriate
- Provides literature and other resources to assist company employees
- Represents companies to clients/customers
- Participates in new employee orientation
- Responds positively and assertively to other duties and services requested by executive leadership
