About the role
The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. They are a member of the healthcare team, implementing the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility.
Responsibilities
- Serve the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Implement the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility.
- Support the PACE sites in Cully and Milwaukie.
- Provide care to elders in the community to help them live active, independent lives.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies, similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations.
- Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.
Qualifications

- Coursework/Training: Four clinical pastoral education units.

Pay
$30.15 - $46.13 per hour, depending on relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
Schedule
28 hours/week on weekdays day shift.
