Chaplain - Hospice
This part-time position (32 hours/week on day shift) involves traveling to see patients in Jackson County and surrounding areas.
About the role
The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain implements the mission, values, and policies of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional spiritual care ministry.
- Serve the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients in various settings.
- Implement the mission, values, and policies of the healthcare facility.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or relevant religious studies accepted by chaplaincy board certifying organizations.
- Four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE).
- National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $28.11 - $43.00 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
