About the Role

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is responsible for implementing the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care ministry in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Serve the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients and their families.
• Implement the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or relevant religious studies accepted by chaplaincy board certifying organizations, or equivalent education/experience.
• Four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE).
• National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.

Pay

Pay range: $30.15 - $46.13 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Part-time, 24 hours per week, day schedule.
