Challenger 605 & 650 Captain - Bedford, MA

About the role

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Challenger 605 & Challenger 650 Captain to join a two-aircraft operation at KBED airport. The account operates a Challenger 604 with Fusion avionics and a Challenger 605 with Pro Line 21 advanced avionics, focusing on heavy international flying, including weekends and most holidays. The ideal candidate will be a standout colleague committed to excellence in safety, service, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Challenger 604 & 605 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, Federal Aviation Regulations, and standard operating procedures, including:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Performing a proper pre-flight inspection per the Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Checking weather, facilities, and alternate airports along the route.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete all trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3,000 hours.
• Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours.
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours.
• Turbo Jet time: 500 hours.
• Instrument time: 250 hours.
• Type rated on CL605/650 or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certification required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KBED or willingness to relocate.

Pay

Solairus crewmembers are paid between $50,000 and $500,000 annually, based on geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
