About the role

The Research Associate will contribute to the research group's projects focusing on numerical structural analysis. The position is open until February 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in numerical methods for structural analysis
  • Develop and analyze computational models for structural engineering problems
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers on interdisciplinary projects
  • Write technical reports and present findings at conferences

Requirements

  • PhD in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with finite element analysis software
  • Strong background in numerical methods and computational mechanics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
  • Knowledge of structural analysis theories and principles
