CH Housing Manager
About the role
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, applicants, and visitors while maintaining a professional, welcoming office environment. Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and Community Housing policies, maintaining program integrity and accurate documentation. Coordinate apartment move-ins, move-outs, and transfers while working closely with maintenance and support teams. Manage occupancy processes including certifications, recertifications, and Housing Assistance Payment Schedules (HAPS). Maintain resident files, collect rent payments, manage deposits, and ensure accurate financial records. Oversee daily building operations by coordinating maintenance, janitorial, and office functions to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. Communicate regularly with residents through notices, bulletins, and meetings to promote engagement and keep residents informed. Organize and facilitate resident meetings and activities to build community and enhance resident satisfaction.

Requirements
Minimum of three years of experience in property management, office management, or a related field. Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computer systems and office applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with residents and staff.
Qualifications
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire. Knowledge of HUD regulations (4350.3), tenant/landlord law, and affordable housing programs.

$28.35 - $29.20 / hr DOE
