CGO Execution Principal Financial Analyst

About the role
RTX’s Capacity Growth Office (CGO) Business Office is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join a team managing capacitization investments valued at over $10B. These high-visibility projects support increased production of munitions and other defense products, requiring Earned Value Management (EVM) and the SAP APEX EVMS/PM tool suite. CGO annual expenditures are forecasted to exceed $2B, with a total anticipated value of more than $10B over five years. This role provides critical analysis and guidance to enable strategic decision-making and achieve bottom-line results.
Responsibilities
- Maintain EVMS requirements for capacitization investments, including developing, presenting, and defending quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC).
- Support financial forecasting and analyze EV metrics, including weekly/monthly costs incurred, to provide leading indicator guidance to CGO leadership and business management.
- Manage projects involving material and manufacturing development, including integration and oversight of large suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with Cost Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, CGO, and Finance leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience interfacing with functional disciplines such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EVMS baselining, implementation, maintenance, and surveillance.
- Familiarity with SAP, including PRISM MRP.
- Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Proven analytical skills and experience with Raytheon’s Program Management (PM) Tool Suite.
- Ability to perform work with minimal direction.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range reflects all experience levels, and RTX considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role. Employees will work both onsite and offsite, with the ratio of onsite time determined in partnership with their leader.
