CFT Field Technician 4
About the role
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Field Technician 4 to support our diverse team onsite in Palmdale CA, Pax River MD, or hybrid/remote. The individual will perform a variety of duties pertaining to aircraft electrical, mechanical, and composite assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment and aircraft.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, at customer and/or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring repairs and modifications are performed per engineering field instructions.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Active U.S. government Secret clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable time as determined by the company to meet business needs.
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Able to acquire a US passport and travel up to 75% of the time.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with Global Hawk or Triton aircraft platforms.
- Experience with electrical, structure and composite layups and repairs.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to operate related equipment.

Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $72,600.00 - $121,000.00
Schedule
Potentially up to 75% travel is to be expected.
