Position Duties
- Provide Personal Care Services to clients in accordance with the care plan.
- Provide assistance including, but not limited to, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and other health related tasks.
- Ensure a safe, clean, healthy home environment.
- Document cares provided to client as instructed.
- Aid with routine household chores such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands/shopping, and transportation arrangements.
- Recognize safety hazards in client's home environment or habits of daily living and report them to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Offer clients social and emotional support.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect.
- Maintain training and educational requirements.
Qualifications
- CFSS Support Worker Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industry knowledge strongly preferred
