CFO

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide hands-on financial leadership during a transitional period. This individual will oversee the organization's accounting and finance functions, improve financial reporting processes, ensure compliance, and partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives. Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Review and improve financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee payroll approval and accounting operations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support ongoing system optimization and financial reporting enhancements.
• Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Perform additional financial leadership responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• Previous experience as a CFO, Controller, or senior finance executive.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting teams through organizational change or transition.
• ERP implementation or optimization experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
