About the role
GeoTek is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to join our team. This position will be based out of our Las Vegas office.Responsibilities
- Inspect welding operations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Review welding procedures and assess weld quality according to established criteria.
- Document findings and prepare inspection reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
- Experience in industrial or construction settings preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in using inspection equipment and software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection.
- Knowledge of relevant welding codes and standards.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
