Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
- Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
- Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
- Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday - Friday with rotating weekend shifts every 4-5 weeks.
Pay
- Compensation: up to $25 per hour, based on skills and experience.
- Bonus package: $2000.
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure.

Requirements
- 2+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred.
- Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Pennsylvania.
Skills
- Client communication and exam room workflow.
- Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
- Anesthesia maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Microscopy and laboratory diagnostics.
