Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
Pulaski Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team and provide dedicated support for surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures. About the role
From induction through recovery, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, high-quality patient care alongside a veterinary team that values skilled technicians.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating surgical and dental procedure schedules
- Calculating and preparing anesthetic medications and drug dosages
- Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia patients
- Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures
- Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Monitoring patient recovery and ongoing procedural care
- Guiding clients through patient admission and discharge with confidence and compassion
Schedule
This is a flexible, full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.
Pay
$22–$24 per hour, for each hour worked.

Requirements
- 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in the state of Wisconsin

- Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Radiology positioning and safety protocols

- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply.
