Responsibilities
- Completes assistive tasks for the surgical team during all phases of procedural care.
- Supports the patient care activities of the perioperative care team.
- Maintains patient confidentiality as it relates to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Adheres to safety standards within the service.
- Maintains patient confidentiality as it relates to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Adheres to hospital confidentiality statement.
- Utilizes Material Safety Data Sheets within service.
- Maintains supplies, instrumentation, and equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Performs sterilization and disinfection procedures according to policy and procedure.
