About the role
The Ontario OB Department is hiring a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist to join their team! Responsibilities
- Supporting surgical procedures as a CST under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Providing setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff.
- Supporting and communicating directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.
- Rooming patients, setting up charts, taking vitals, giving baby baths, assisting in stocking, and functioning as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required.
- Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

Schedule
This part-time, benefited position will work 24 hours per week on night shift from 7pm to 7am. Work shifts could include weekends, weekdays or holidays.
