Certified Surgical First Assistant, Surgery/Operating Room, Days-630a-5p, 4-10hr shifts and on-call schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures requiring sterile technique and knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology
• Tasks include holding retractors, suctioning, sponging the operative site, applying dressings, providing hemostasis, and suturing
• Services provided by a CSFA may be eligible for reimbursement from insurance payors
• May be required to perform on-call services as needed

Qualifications

• Must have hospital and/or payer credentialing completed before functioning in this role
• One of: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), Surgical Assistant (SAC), or Medical Doctor (MD)
• Desired one year as a surgical assistant
• High School Diploma or GED
