Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Functions as First Assistant and scrub person on a wide variety of operative procedures.
• Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 3 Years Experience As First Assistant Preferred
• Current Certified First Assistant license
• BLS required at hire
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Surgical Assistant must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), or Surgical Assistant Certified (SA-C)
