About the role

The Certified Student Support Analyst provides direct student support to make schools the centers of wellness in their communities. They apply a systemic, student-led, equity and community-focused partnership while providing a developmentally appropriate approach to instruction, mental wellness, and student behavior. They also play a key role in building and maintaining Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) that use a whole child design focus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct student support to promote wellness in schools.
  • Implement tiered interventions in a diverse setting.
  • Work collaboratively with youth and families to build shared leadership.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of MTSS systems.
  • Report to the Director of Student Services.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in a job-related field.
  • Behavior Analyst Certification or significant current progress toward meeting certification requirements, with a completion date of no later than six (6) months from the hiring date (must have completed at least 1,700 hours of the 2,000 field hours required).
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience performing similar functions and duties, preferably in a school setting.
  • Experience in implementing tiered interventions in a diverse setting is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a job-related field.
  • Official/unofficial transcripts denoting graduation with a Master's degree in a job-related field.
  • Behavior Analyst Certification or proof of significant current progress toward meeting certification requirements, with a completion of at least 1,700 field hours.
