Job Summary
Preparing Instruments
Identifies and initiates appropriate sterilization method
Supplies and Equipment Distribution
Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with hospital and unit specific policies
Qualifications
- Education
All levels require minimum High school education or the equivalent - Experience
Must be Certified through the HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) or CBSPD with the CRCST or CSPDT credential respectively
1 year minimum sterile processing experience required (Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience) - Licensure/Certification
Level 4: Must be certified in Sterile Processing
Schedule
M-F 2:30pm -11:00pm/ Holiday rotation
