About the role

This position requires a rotating call schedule for weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
• Maintains code carts, chest carts, urology carts.
• Cleans hospital wide equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification in either central service or surgery technology
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Completion of formal central service technician or surgery technologist program
• Previous central service, surgery, or patient care work experience is desirable
