About the role

Responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care under physician direction or supervision, utilizing principles, techniques, and theories of respiratory medicine.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of respiratory procedures including critical care and blood gas analysis, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
• Work with computerized equipment and healthcare applications to deliver effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA Respiratory Therapy program
• Current license (temporary or permanent) from the State of Arkansas
• Knowledge of respiratory procedures and modalities
• Eligible or passed the NBRC CRT exam
• Certified in CPR by the American Heart Association

Skills

• Additional college or associate degree
• Prior hospital experience
• NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to learn and operate computerized patient care equipment
